Would you like to take on responsibility and actively help shape day-to-day operations with your hands-on approach? Do you have a strong technical understanding, a structured way of working, and a strong focus on finding solutions? Tasks

  • Supporting the operational management of a production site with an annual volume of over 200,000 metric tons
  • Sharing responsibility for the goal-oriented leadership, motivation, and professional development of a team of more than 80 employees
  • Ensuring efficient production processes in terms of quality, productivity, and on-time delivery
  • Participation in the recruitment of skilled and unskilled workers, as well as support in budget planning, cost control, and the achievement of annual targets
  • Involvement in establishing a professional maintenance management system, as well as in investment and repair planning
  • Assisting with the preparation, execution, and oversight of internal and external audits
  • Actively participating in the identification and implementation of improvement measures in production and processes
  • Responsibility for occupational safety, environmental standards, and selected special projects

Profile

  • Completed technical training with additional training to become an industrial foreman, technician, or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of management and production experience in the steel processing industry, ideally at a steel service center
  • Experience in managing executives as well as in developing teams and structures
  • Proficiency with MS Office 365 as well as ERP/MES systems
  • Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and experience in developing teams and organizational structures
  • Residence in the Vogtland/Gera region or willingness to relocate; on-site presence required Monday through Friday
