Support our team at our Heiligenroth location with your expertise in process engineering. You will handle both operational tasks at our injection molding machines and take on key technical leadership responsibilities.
Tasks
- Coordinate and carry out setup procedures in accordance with quality and schedule requirements
- Ensure the prompt and sustainable resolution of process disruptions
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety measures and address safety deficiencies
- Support employees and managers with technical and planning issues
- Provide technical leadership for the process mechanics team during the shift and act as a substitute for the shift supervisor as needed
- Schedule shifts, and support and develop employees
Profile
- Completed training as a plastics and rubber technologist / process mechanic or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in a plastics processing company is a plus
- Some leadership experience is desirable but not required
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Strong technical understanding, analytical approach, and high level of commitment
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and conflict resolution skills
- Willingness to work shifts
