Business Development Manager DDBS (m/f/d) - Smart Sourcing

Tasks
- As part of our Business Development team, you will be a driving force behind new strategies, identifying market potential and developing concepts that make a difference. If you enjoy identifying trends, building networks and working with us to reach the next level in smart sourcing, then you've come to the right place!
- Strategic market launch and distribution of EPLAN Smart Sourcing to distributors/electrical wholesalers in Europe and component manufacturers with their own online sales channels (shops, marketplaces)
- Establishment of a sustainable partner network in the area of distribution & manufacturer e-commerce
- Approaching and convincing decision-makers in key and management positions (including C-level)
- Developing and implementing individual business cases for the integration of EPLAN Smart Sourcing (including technical interfaces and contract design)
- Working closely with the central ESS product team and international sales colleagues in the USA, Asia, and Europe
- Active market observation, identification of growth levers, and competitive analysis
- Representing our solution at leading trade fairs and customer events in Germany and abroad
Job profile
- Relevant professional experience in electrical component sales, ideally with an extensive network in the areas of distribution/wholesale/manufacturer digitalization
- You understand both technical contexts in engineering and commercial processes in purchasing
- High affinity for digital business models, SaaS, and data platforms
- Willingness to travel within Europe (30–40%)
- Business fluent in German and English, other languages (e.g., French) are an advantage
