Team Leader (m/f/d) Work Planning

Join our team at the Haiger location as a dedicated manager who, with professional expertise, flexibility, and a strong understanding of processes, will make a significant contribution to the success of our production division.
Tasks
- Leading and developing the Work Planning team
- Ensuring production and capacity planning, including schedule monitoring and the planning, management, and prioritization of production orders
- Optimizing planning, manufacturing, and material flows, as well as analyzing bottlenecks and implementing appropriate countermeasures
- Implementing and further developing Lean, continuous improvement (KVP), and digitalization initiatives
- Responsibility for master data, work plans, and manufacturing documents in the SAP system
- Managing key performance indicators (KPIs), KPI monitoring, and reporting, including deriving and implementing appropriate optimization measures
- Close collaboration with Production, Sales, Supply Chain Management, and Purchasing to ensure delivery deadlines are met
- Leading projects to improve quality, productivity, and cost efficiency, as well as providing support for capital investment and automation projects
- Ensuring compliance with occupational safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial engineering with a focus on production, logistics, or supply chain management; alternatively, technical training with relevant professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in work planning, production planning, or production control, as well as leadership experience
- Very good knowledge of SAP (especially PP/MM), ideally supplemented by experience with S/4HANA and MES systems
- Good written and spoken English skills are a plus
- Strong focus on goals and results, as well as a deep understanding of processes and methods
- Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and persuasiveness
