Tasks
- Preparing or assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns for the individual companies in the Group
- Value added tax worldwide
- Collaboration in process optimization in the area of accounting and as a technical contact person in projects for tax planning and structuring issues
- Advising and supporting internal departments on special tax issues, audits and the implementation of accounting standards
- Ensuring all compliance obligations
- Independent processing of all correspondence and statements in the area of tax law
Job profile
- Completed studies in economics or comparable training or further training as a tax specialist/tax consultant
- Initial professional experience in a tax department or tax consultancy or auditing firm is an advantage
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Datev and SAP/R3
- Good understanding of complex issues and interrelationships
- Good analytical and conceptual skills as well as an independent and careful way of working
