Tasks
- Active cost management in the context of cost calculations and charging rates for new product developments
- Integrative controlling business partner - especially for the development area and product management
- Derivation and definition of target cost levels and cost-optimised product design for new product developments in collaboration with product management
- Carrying out systematic analyses of process costs and the cost structure of series products to identify potential cost savings
- Preparation of meaningful ad hoc analyses and participation in cross-departmental product cost optimisation teams, projects and special tasks
Job profile
- Successfully completed studies in the field of business administration or industrial engineering
- First professional experience in a comparable position in an internationally operating industrial company
- Ideally initial experience in design to cost and the use of design to cost tools
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and knowledge of the SAP modules FI/CO and PP/MM
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Quick comprehension and strong communication skills as well as an independent way of thinking and working
- Very good analytical and conceptual skills
