Sustainability Strategy Specialist (m/f/d)

Tasks
- Development and implementation of the global sustainability strategy of the Friedhelm Loh Group and the companies
- Derivation and implementation of sustainability targets, metrics and measures (e.g. decarbonisation) as well as the management of overarching sustainability issues in the Group
- Collection of sustainability-related key figures in coordination with the specialist departments
- Establishment and further development of methods, processes and guidelines for sustainability management
- Supporting operational teams in the implementation of sustainability initiatives and building expertise (idea management)
- Monitoring key developments in the ESG environment, e.g. regulatory challenges
- Preparation of presentations and decision papers for top management
Job profile
- Successfully completed studies in economics and/or engineering
- Several years of experience in the B2B sector, ideally in the manufacturing industry, in mechanical and plant engineering or in the steel industry
- Ideally experience in one of the areas of sustainability management/logistics/R&D/production/energy management
- Experience and understanding of strategic and technical sustainability aspects within the company
- Project management skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Team player with strong communication and persuasion skills
- Curiosity and willingness to learn

As Head of Sustainability Strategy, Isabel Tartler is monitoring the ecological footprint of the Friedhelm Loh Group on a daily basis.
