As Head of Sustainability Strategy, Isabel Tartler is monitoring the ecological footprint of the Friedhelm Loh Group on a daily basis. In this capacity, she is kind of an intellectual sparring partner, sounding board and advisor for colleagues in other departments and divisions to help frame and re-frame thinking on sustainability. Together they strive to achieve a common goal: to maximise sustainability across the entire value chain. “Our plants and processes are increasingly being streamlined and geared towards improving their efficiency and bringing greater transparency to the supply chain. “We are also setting ourselves sustainability targets in the realms of ‘social responsibility’ and ‘corporate governance’ as we believe that there is still further potential in the group in these particular areas. Her wish for the future is “that we continue to grow together and think about sustainability in every business decision.”
