Tasks

You set up machines, take care of their retooling, and operate and monitor the fully automatic interlinked and computer-controlled production systems
Material replenishment, loading of the machines and removal of the finished parts are further responsibilities
In addition to the machining of materials in accordance with technical specifications, including subsequent quality inspection, your task portfolio includes repair work, machine maintenance and the rectification of smaller faults

Job profile

Good basic secondary school results ("Hauptschulabschluss") or intermediate school-leaving certificate ("mittlere Reife")
German language skills (B1 level)
Technical understanding and manual craft skills
Exact, meticulous and reliable approach to work, alongside a sense of responsibility
Team-minded and flexible

The Junior Competence Center is an important hub in the day-to-day lives of our apprentices and students. It’s where junior employees from across the Friedhelm Loh Group get together to organise and manage their own projects, driven by the belief that individuals can exceed their own ambitions through teamwork.

In year two of the program, our trainees’ project work traditionally kicks off with the Gnadenthal workshop series. In 2022, the workshops took place in person with speakers including Sergiy Lakhno, Managing Director Rittal Ukraine, who spoke about his personal experience of handling major crises. “It was so thought-provoking,” says Arthur Hetzel, Rittal mechatronics apprentice. “It made me re-evaluate my own problems in a different light.”
