Tasks
- You ensure reliable material flows from procurement through to processing, and subsequently handle shipping of the finished products
- You are involved at all stages of the incoming goods process, including inspection and storage
- You draw up delivery plans and schedules, complete customs declarations, and process dispatch and shipping documents
- Vehicle loading, the operation of fork-lifts and proper securing of the transport loads are further important responsibilities
Job profile
- Very good basic secondary school results ("Hauptschulabschluss") or intermediate school-leaving certificate ("mittlere Reife")
- Good mathematics skills and computer knowledge
- German language skills (B2 level)
- Interest in practical hands-on work and organisational talent
- Exact, meticulous and reliable approach to work
- Team-minded and flexible

In year two of the program, our trainees’ project work traditionally kicks off with the Gnadenthal workshop series. In 2022, the workshops took place in person with speakers including Sergiy Lakhno, Managing Director Rittal Ukraine, who spoke about his personal experience of handling major crises. “It was so thought-provoking,” says Arthur Hetzel, Rittal mechatronics apprentice. “It made me re-evaluate my own problems in a different light.”
