It’s not just visitors who want to get into the museum and up close to the engines – up-and-coming talents at FLG are keen, too. For example, as project manager, Jan Frederik Templin plays a crucial role in ensuring that the exhibits from Bugatti, Porsche and others are perfectly showcased for the museum’s guests. The team’s task is to curate the current Engine gallery in such a way that it fulfils the museum’s educational remit even more effectively and achieves the museum’s main aim – getting people of all ages interested in technology – better than ever before. How does this work? They want to use vehicles, engines and text to create spaces that visitors can immerse themselves in. “The exhibits represent courage, innovative strength, groundbreaking design, craftsmanship and love of detail,” says Jan Frederik Templin. “It is a superb project, I learnt quite a bit.”
