Halim Bukva
Halim Bukva
Shift Leader Injection Moulding Production, LKH

When Halim Bukva arrived in Germany in 1989, his professional life was initially "adventurous," as he describes it. It was not until 2010, when he joined LKH, that his tasks and responsibilities grew steadily, until he finally became Team Leader for Process Mechanics. “Obtaining further qualifications then gave me the opportunity to obtain written certification of all my experience,” he reports. That also gave Bukva the chance of a promotion. He is now Shift Leader Injection Moulding Production.

Igor Schneigelberger
Igor Schneigelberger
Team Leader Process Mechanics, LKH

Initially taken on as a temporary worker, Igor Schneigelberger was quickly hired by LKH and worked, among other things, as an assistant fitter. “When that went well, I became a conventional fitter, took on more responsibility and was able to work more independently,” he explains. Finally, he became team leader for process mechanics, trained as a machine and system operator and is now deputy shift manager for injection moulding production.

Jakob Schönauer
Jakob Schönauer
Vocational trainer, Friedhelm Loh Group

At the age of just 23, Jakob Schönauer hasn’t just qualified as a trainer, but is also gearing up for the future at the new “Robots, cobots and AI” competence centre. “Talk of shaping the future is more than just empty words here. We really can play our part. The training workshop is like a hotbed of innovation for me." According to him, success is having a meaningful job that ensures young people, the company and he himself can move on up.

Kristina Shits
Kristina Shits
Team Leader Process Mechanics, LKH

Having joined the LKH quality control team in 2019, Kristina Shits is now a team leader. How does this work? “I came to a point where I wanted more and asked my bosses whether I could attend the Loh Academy to qualify as a machine and system operator. I received a great deal of support and encouragement,” she says. But that’s not all. “I’m considering further training to qualify as an engineer in the near future. The basic training I’ve done now makes that possible, and I could even do a master’s degree,” she adds.
