Global Application Engineer (m/f/d) Energy & Power Solutions

We are looking for a new team member to join our global Business Unit Energy & Power Solutions at our Rittal headquarters.
Tasks
- Development of pre-designed solutions (application samples) in Eplan for various applications in the fields of power generation, power grids, energy storage, charging infrastructure, and power distribution
- Design, construction, and documentation of these solutions in Eplan P8 and Eplan Pro Panel
- Preparation of solutions for marketing and sales in collaboration with the relevant departments
- Training and support for subsidiaries in the use of application samples and Eplan Cloud
- Close exchange with relevant Eplan colleagues for the further development of the digital customer journey
- Support and implementation of global projects in close cooperation with the regions
Job profile
- Completed degree in (industrial) engineering with a focus on electrical/energy engineering or comparable qualification
- Ideally, initial industry experience and market knowledge in the fields of energy technology, low-voltage technology, and renewable energies
- Business fluent German and English skills
- Strong communication skills with a high degree of initiative and a goal-oriented, analytical approach to work
- Process understanding as well as conceptual, organizational, and strategic strengths
- Willingness to travel internationally
