Project Engineer (m/f/d) International Data Centres

What will the data centre of the future look like? Together with you, we would like to answer this question and drive the digital transformation forward. Join our Business Unit IT Solutions with a focus on data centres at our Rittal headquarters in Herborn.
Tasks
- Technical solution development and conceptualization of international data center projects
- Active sales support for subsidiaries as well as technical support and consulting for customers
- Engineering, cost estimation, and support in preparing bids and throughout the course of the project
- Conducting employee training and supporting customers, subsidiaries, or reference visits to headquarters
- Collaboration with international partners and alliances on global IT infrastructure solutions
- Support for marketing activities and participation in international trade fairs, trade events, and customer events
Job profile
- Completed technical degree, e.g., electrical engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the above-mentioned field of activity and basic knowledge of project management
- Very good English skills
- Strong communication skills with a high level of technical affinity
- Enjoy working in a cross-functional team and interacting with international customers
- Willingness to travel occasionally
