Tasks

  • Responsibility for commercial dispatch processing at the Rittershausen site
  • Disciplinary and technical management of a team of currently 9 employees in the dispatch office area
  • Identifying and implementing necessary qualification measures and reviewing the effectiveness of training courses carried out
  • Ensuring & monitoring the daily fulfilment of plans, taking into account quality, delivery reliability and resource efficiency, management of deviations
  • Standardisation of processes and workflows / activities
  • Ensuring compliance with processes, standards and other operational & legal requirements
  • Handling national and international shipments in SAP in compliance with the respective customer and country-specific requirements
  • Key user function, system administration in the SAP-XPR and LES systems
  • Operational & strategic management of empties management
  • Organisation and implementation of inventories, inventory management
  • Supporting the Head of GDC in conceptual tasks
  • Collaboration in the optimisation and further development of logistics processes
  • Driver of an open error culture

Job profile

  • Completed training as a warehouse logistics specialist, forwarding agent or industrial clerk, further qualification as a business economist or completed studies in supply chain management / logistics
  • Experience in Atlas customs clearance
  • Experience in managing and developing employees
  • Sound knowledge of empties management
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office 365 and SAP is an advantage
  • Communicative team player with an independent and structured way of working
  • Willingness to travel and, if necessary, willingness to work shifts
