Tasks
- Coordination of testing tasks with product development
- Test set-ups for climate control tests (function, performance, electrical safety)
- Setting up the measurement project and carrying out the corresponding tests on a normative basis
- Documentation and presentation of the test results
- Development of design proposals for the optimisation of air conditioning products
- Co-operation with internal and external partners
- Developing and implementing concepts and solutions for the further development of testing technology in the laboratory
- Responsibility for the technical readiness of the required test equipment (incl. calibration)
Job profile
- Completed vocational training in refrigeration technology or electrical engineering (ideally further training as a master craftsman or technician)
- Knowledge of the mechanics, hydraulics and electrics of refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation components
- Experience in planning, carrying out and analysing tests on refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation equipment and systems desirable
- Knowledge in the application of modern testing and measuring techniques
- Desirable
- Good English for communication with international production sites and external test centres desirable
- Communicative team player with an independent, analytical, structured and quality-orientated way of working with a high degree of initiative
