Head of Maintenance (m/f/d)

We are looking for a committed and experienced manager for our maintenance department who can master challenging situations with technical know-how and strong leadership skills. Join our team at location in Gera.
Tasks
- Management and coordination of a maintenance team of around 5 employees with various fields of activity in the areas of mechatronics, electronics and metal construction
- Ensuring compliance with legal standards (BetrSichV)
- Optimization and further development of maintenance processes in accordance with the requirements of IATF 16949
- Establishing and developing an efficient spare parts management system
- Planning and coordinating maintenance measures and the use of external companies
- Cost management and budget planning
- Promotion of the continuous improvement process (CIP) and building management
- Interface to other departments, especially production
- Regular reporting to plant management
Job profile
- Training as a technician or master craftsman or completed engineering studies with relevant professional experience
- Several years of professional and management experience in an industrial company, ideally in the field of steel service or forming technology
- Sound knowledge of maintenance
- Good command of English
- Quick comprehension and technical understanding
- High level of responsibility and cost control
- Leadership personality with a structured working style, strategic thinking and strong communication skills
