Tasks

  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, BDSG, etc.)
  • Supporting the data protection officer in implementing data protection management, tracking measures and conducting audits
  • Processing data subject requests and data protection incidents in close coordination with the data protection officer
  • Advising and supporting specialist departments on data protection issues, data protection risk assessment and preparation of data protection impact assessments
  • Supporting the specialist department in creating and maintaining the processing directory
  • Assisting in the evaluation and review of contracts with data protection-related content (e.g. processing agreements)
  • Training and raising awareness of data protection among employees and managers
  • Contact person for data protection coordinators in the specialist departments

Job profile

  • Completed degree in law, IT security, business informatics or comparable qualification and/or equivalent specialist knowledge acquired in at least 3 years of professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of data protection.
  • In-depth knowledge of the GDPR and other data protection laws, certification in the field of data protection (e.g. CIPP/E, UDIS, GDD) is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of information security management and experience in risk management (information security and/or data protection and/or internal control systems) are desirable
  • Experience in dealing with data protection management systems
  • Analytical thinking and structured working methods.
  • High level of commitment and team-oriented approach
  • Strong communication skills and assertiveness, ideally experience in IT service provider management is an advantage
  • Very good German and English skills
