Tasks
- Creation and management of ETL processes including data pipelines from the source systems to the provision of data for our data analysts
- Support in the creation of data models
- Further development of our data management for advanced analytics with regard to new technologies, performance improvements and the creation of a single point of truth for analytical purposes
- Supporting the data stewardship team in complying with the data governance framework, including the implementation of processes, guidelines, methods, organization and roles
- Ensuring that the required data is available reliably and in high quality
- Participation in the department in the targeted improvement of data quality for business-critical data in accordance with the data strategy as well as the introduction of and compliance with data quality processes and suitable tools
Job profile
- You have a Bachelor's degree or a comparable education in one of the following study programs: Data Analytics & Science, (Business) Informatics or Economics
- You are passionate about operating and improving data management for analytical purposes (databases, data warehouses, etc.)
- You are well versed in dealing with topics from the areas of data cleansing, data storage and data propagation
- You have an affinity for data engineering and ideally already have experience in daily work, e.g. with Microsoft Azure Data Factory, SAP Datasphere, SAP BW or similar technical solutions
- Well thought-out, harmonized data structures are just as much in your blood as valid and high-quality data
- You have proven project management skills, including a thorough understanding of interpreting business requirements and translating them into operational requirements
- You are proficient in German and English to at least B2 level and can use both languages successfully in your day-to-day work
- Openness to hybrid working in cross-functional, multicultural and international teams
