We are looking for a technically skilled and dedicated IT System Administrator (m/f/d) with a strong focus on cloud administration to join our motivated team in Haiger.
Tasks
- Administration of the globally used server and VDI environment
- Maintenance and administration of server and storage hardware
- Administration of the Commvault backup environment
- Conception and realisation of upgrade, implementation and migration projects
- Defining and reviewing standards and processes in the Server & Cloud area in collaboration with the international Server and Cloud IT team
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Collaboration on international projects
Job profile
- Completed training as an IT specialist in system integration or comparable qualification with several years of professional experience
- Experience in dealing with server and client operating systems (Windows & Linux)
- Very good knowledge of operational tasks relating to virtualisation, backups, monitoring and architecture of IT services
- Good knowledge of the cloud (IAAS, PAAS, SAAS) with a focus on MS Azure
- Good knowledge of German and English
- Ability to work in a team with a high level of service orientation and commitment
- Enjoy solving IT problems in an international environment
- Independent, structured and solution-orientated way of working
