Tasks
- Independent setup and configuration of plastic injection molding machines, including peripherals
- Start-up and optimization of processes after tool changes, taking quality and efficiency into account
- Initial approval of components in terms of quality after the start-up process, followed by the initiation of corrective measures if necessary
- Analyzing and troubleshooting faults in the injection molding process in close cooperation with maintenance
- Continuously improving cycle times and component quality
Job profile
- Completed training as a plastics and rubber technologist (formerly process mechanic) or comparable qualification, alternatively similar training with relevant experience in injection molding
- Professional experience in plastics processing, drying, and optimization of production processes
- Confident handling of injection molding machines from common manufacturers
- Team player with technical understanding and an independent and responsible way of working
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
