Global Vertical Market Manager (m/f/d) Process Industry

We are looking for you to join our nationwide locations, preferably in Monheim am Rhein (Düsseldorf/Cologne), as soon as possible.
Tasks
- Overall responsibility for the global expansion of EPLAN solutions in the process industry market segment
- Support in defining local market strategies by analysing local market potential and identifying the most influential players in the ecosystem
- Identification of necessary industry standards, interfaces and other product gaps and implementation in the (product) development process
- Researching market trends and drivers, engaging in industry associations and identifying potential partners
- Promoting brand awareness in the industry and global networking through targeted marketing activities, participation in industry-specific trade fairs, conferences and associations, and own presence on social media
- Developing flagship projects with potential target customers that can be used as multiplier projects
- Sales support for local teams (e.g. joint customer visits) and close cooperation and knowledge exchange with EPLAN subsidiaries
- Transferring industry knowledge to local sales managers and/or sales teams
Job profile
- Completed degree in (industrial) engineering, business administration or a comparable qualification
- Preferably at least 5 years of experience in the process industry, understanding of the industry and workflows in this sector, and a very good network of contacts
- Knowledge of the CAx market, technical applications and the consultative sales process required to close new business in a software solutions-focused market
- Understanding of the business challenges associated with the market
- High level of customer focus, confident manner and presentation skills, as well as conceptual and strategic abilities
- Ability to assume an equivalent business position at management level
- Very good knowledge of German and English and willingness to travel internationally
