Tasks
- Planning and procurement of machinery and equipment as well as operating resources in cutting, forming and profiling technology
- Responsibility for individual processes through to highly automated production network systems as part of inventory and new planning for our international locations
- Development of global standards for core tasks in coordination with the global production networks and taking into account local conditions
- Project management for operational, strategic planning and implementation projects
- Development of cost-optimised, scalable production concepts using market and concept analyses as well as value engineering
- Creation of decision templates and feasibility analyses (DFA/DFM) as well as collaboration on FMEA for new procedures and processes
- Preparation of enquiry documents and specifications as well as claim management
- Supporting the start-up phase of implemented systems through systematic debugging
Job profile
- Completed (business) engineering studies or technician training with a focus on mechanical / electrical engineering or process engineering
- Relevant professional experience in planning, processing, start-up support and optimisation of automated production systems
- Knowledge of project management and lean principles
- Good written and spoken English skills
- IT knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SAP R/3 as well as advanced CAD knowledge
- Goal-, result- and action-orientated way of working
- Personality with a lot of enthusiasm and strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
