In a digital world where security is not a state but an ongoing process, we are looking for an IT Security Engineer (m/f/d) who will protect our IT landscape with foresight, technical sensitivity and a high level of responsibility. Tasks
- Analysis and handling of security incidents (detection, triage, containment, eradication and recovery)
- Performing forensic analyses on endpoints, servers and networks
- Developing and maintaining incident response playbooks and processes
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. ISO, IT operations, data protection, legal department)
- Supporting the continuous improvement of our security architecture and processes
- Performing root cause analyses and lessons learned after incidents
Profile
- Completed degree in IT, IT security or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in IT security, ideally in incident response or SOC environment
- In-depth knowledge of network security, operating systems (Windows, Linux), malware analysis and forensics
- Experience with tools such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, forensic tools
- Good knowledge of current threat situations, attack vectors and TTPs (e.g. MITRE ATT&CK)
- Analytical thinking, structured working style and high resilience in stressful situations
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
