Tasks
- Management and documentation of the entire IT asset lifecycle (hardware, software, related assets)
- Allocation and withdrawal of IT assets based on requests
- Maintenance of IT vendor, contract, and asset data as well as the associated systems
- Support with onboarding, risk assessments, audits, and compliance checks
- Participation in KPI collection, reporting, and controlling
- Development and implementation of ITAM guidelines and process optimization in IT vendor management
- Collaboration with specialist departments (e.g., IT finance) and advising management on savings and optimization potential
- Opportunity to take on international subprojects
Job profile
- Completed commercial or technical training (e.g., IT systems specialist) or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in operational IT asset management, ideally with a manufacturer connection
- Knowledge of license and contract forms from leading IT software providers (e.g., VMware, Palo Alto, Atlassian, Autodesk, Salesforce, Oracle, Cisco, ServiceNow, Dell, IBM)
- Basic knowledge of IT contract law and proven skills in IT compliance, contract, and asset management
- Advantageous: Certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 19770, ITIL V3/V4) and knowledge of BPMN 2.0
- Language skills: Business fluent in German; good written and spoken English
- Confident use of SAP and MS Office
