As an IT Data Steward (Finance & Supplier Master Data), you will be part of our IT Data Stewardship team and play a key role in the technical support of our central master data management system. The focus is on IT support, technical application management and ensuring smooth interfaces – not on technical process responsibility. If you would like to play an active role in the further development of our MDM system, then you've come to the right place!
Tasks
- Technical support and administration of the central MDM system (e.g. TIBCO EBX) to ensure stable operation
- 1st–2nd level support for master data queries from various departments (e.g. Fi/Co, Purchasing, etc.)
- Analysis and correction of technical errors in the MDM system, including log analysis and database checks
- Monitoring and ensuring interface functionality (ERP, reporting)
- Support with technical maintenance of the data model (finance & supplier master data) and evaluation of changes
- Coordination/processing of change requests with IT, data governance and external partners
- Performing technical data analyses and deriving corrective measures
- Supporting releases, deployments, tests and UAT measures
- Creating technical documentation, work instructions and knowledge articles
- Collaborating on MDM projects and continuous system optimisation
Job profile
- Degree in economics, econometrics, (business) information technology or similar
- Experience in IT support, application management or technical support for business applications
- Technical understanding of MDM systems (ideally TIBCO EBX), knowledge of financial or supplier master data is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of databases, XML/JSON, error logs and technical analysis methods
- Experience in working with interfaces (API, batch jobs, ETL, data pipelines) desirable
- Good German and English skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented approach to work and strong problem-solving skills,
- quick comprehension and willingness to learn new topics
- Ability to work in a team and confident communication with IT colleagues, external partners and users
