Do you have a knack for IT vendors, contracts, and compliance? Do you want to design processes, keep an eye on risks, and ensure transparency with clear structures? Then you've come to the right place in our IT Vendor Management Team!
Tasks
- Onboarding new IT vendors
- Supporting the selection and development of manufacturers, consulting firms, suppliers, and service providers in collaboration with internal customers and central purchasing
- Participating in risk assessments of existing and new vendors and IT assets
- Ensuring IT compliance and governance at the vendor, contract, and asset levels
- Collaborating on KPI collection, reporting, and controlling in vendor management
- Supporting contract negotiations and the development of RFPs (requests for proposals)
- Preparing and supporting tenders through central purchasing
- Collaborating on IT freelancer and service provider sourcing
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Maintaining vendor, contract, and asset data as well as documentation systems
- Further developing the process landscape in IT vendor management
- Collaborating with IT project management and IT finance on cross-functional topics
- Opportunity to take on international sub-projects and representation in IT asset management
Job profile
- Completed commercial or technical training (e.g., IT systems specialist) or comparable qualification; career changers also welcome
- Several years of experience in IT consulting (pre-sales), inside sales, license sales, vendor management, contract management, or IT purchasing is an advantage
- Knowledge of license and contract forms from leading IT manufacturers (e.g., VMware, Palo Alto, Sophos, Atlassian, Autodesk, Salesforce, Oracle, Citrix, Cisco, ServiceNow) desirable
- Basic knowledge of IT contract law and expertise in IT compliance, contract and license management
- Certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 19770-1, ISO 20000, ITIL V3/V4) are advantageous
- Language skills: Fluent and business-proficient German; confident written and spoken English
- Confident use of SAP and MS Office
- High IT affinity, technical and commercial understanding, organizational skills, and strong service orientation
