Tasks
- Creation of concepts for the redesign and optimization of material flows and for overall intralogistics systems
- Verification and optimization of the developed solutions through (material flow) simulations
- Development of alternative variants and their evaluation in terms of economic efficiency and productivity
- Preparation of decision papers and presentation to internal customers (national and international)
- Planning and realization of projects at our national and international locations, preparation of specifications, selection and evaluation of suppliers, project management in terms of costs, performance and time
- Developing and refining standard modules for storage and conveyor systems
- Standardization of the developed solutions and methods as well as implementation of an international network of experts
Job profile
- Successfully completed studies in logistics management, (industrial) engineering, business administration with a focus on logistics or comparable qualification
- Experience in logistics and material flow planning, automation in intralogistics and / or in the implementation of implementation projects (greenfield, brownfield, optimization projects) as (partial) project manager
- Strong communication skills in German and English
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, SAP and ideally with a simulation program
- Strong analytical skills, an independent working style and the ability to understand the needs of internal customers
- Willingness to work at home and abroad as well as intercultural competence
