Tasks
- You are responsible for the configuration and administration of e-mail gateways and e-mail services, in particular Proofpoint as a mail gateway and Exchange Online as a mail service
- As part of the team, you will handle 2nd & 3rd level incidents relating to email security solutions and the integration of email services into existing IT infrastructures
- Using your expertise to identify and implement optimization opportunities in the use of email services, planning the integration of new email technologies and architectures
- Administration of Microsoft 365 with a special focus on email services and security aspects
- Support for email solutions over the entire life cycle - from design and implementation to testing, maintenance and further development
- Planning and implementation of migration projects for email systems, including the transition from legacy systems to modern cloud-based solutions
Job profile
- Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable completed IT-oriented training, e.g. as an IT specialist (m/f/d)
- Practical experience in the areas of: Email gateway administration (preferably Proofpoint) and email services, especially Exchange Online and Microsoft 365
- Good communication skills, both in German and English, to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Ability to organize and plan, enjoy working in a team and be quick on the uptake
