Are you IT-affine and would like to play an active role in shaping the transparency and energy efficiency of data centers? Do you enjoy setting up new structures? Then we are looking for you for our new consulting division “RiZone” at one of our nationwide locations as soon as possible.
Tasks
- Independent implementation of new and migration projects for the new generation Rittal software RiZone OTM Suite. Depending on customer requirements, this is done on site and/or remotely.
- Independent consulting for technical and IT conception, implementation and testing of customer projects during rollout as well as further development and individual customization
- Analyzing the processes and technical requirements of our customers, conducting and moderating workshops
- Independent implementation of pre-sales processes including the creation of service descriptions and specifications as well as cost estimates
- Active involvement in setting up our new consulting team as well as structures and standards
Job profile
- Completed studies in information technology / engineering or technician / master craftsman training with relevant practical experience & further training or a comparable qualification
- Practical experience in the areas of operating technology, network technology and IT security is an advantage
- Experience in dealing with cloud native applications, current cloud architectures as well as the operation of data centers and / or energy management according to ISO 50001 is preferred
- Knowledge of RedHat OpenShift/Linux desirable
- Experience in the incorporation of IT technical requirements and their practical implementation
- Convincing and confident appearance, team spirit and strategic thinking as well as a structured way of working
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills and willingness to travel (approx. 50% in the D-A-C-H region, occasionally internationally)
