We are looking for a committed and internationally experienced department manager for our Service & Support division at Rittal Automation Systems. Support our team at our location in Herborn with your expertise and leadership skills.

Tasks

  • Operational and business-oriented responsibility for the service & support of our external customers as well as users and employees from Germany and abroad in all technical matters relating to the product, service and solution portfolio of Rittal Automation Systems
  • Technical and disciplinary management, development, motivation and coordination of our service/support team and the associated workflows
  • Spare parts management
  • Responsibility for the service-side active participation in the development process of new products to ensure service readiness at product launch
  • Internal and external escalation management
  • Ensuring the transfer of knowledge with regard to service & support for the Rittal solution portfolio
  • Close cross-departmental cooperation and use of reports/KPIs to monitor and control customer satisfaction, service/product quality, performance and efficiency
  • Implementation of service concepts in structures and workflows with the aim of achieving maximum customer satisfaction
  • Development and implementation of proactive measures (training, best practices, knowledge database...) to enable the highest service quality right from the first customer contact
  • Concept development for services, spare/wear parts and service level agreements to support the various sales channels

Job profile

  • Completed commercial / technical studies or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional and management experience in the management of an internationally operating service support organization with P&L responsibility
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office 365 and corresponding CRM/service software
  • Business fluent in English
  • Actively driving and implementing change
  • Strong service mentality, flexibility and a high degree of team spirit
  • Committed demeanor combined with strong communication skills, persuasiveness and negotiation skills, even in a heterogeneous environment
