Tasks
- During the course of your training, you learn how to process, assemble and connect mechanical and electrical components – often also in accordance with customer specifications
- In the production centre, you install, commission and maintain electrical systems and equipment and provide for documentation of the production data
- You handle quality assurance tasks and perform function and safety testing
Job profile
- Good basic secondary school results ("Hauptschulabschluss") or intermediate school-leaving certificate ("mittlere Reife")
- German language skills (B2 level)
- Technical understanding and manual craft skills
- Exact, meticulous and reliable approach to work, alongside a sense of responsibility
- Team-minded, flexible and with organisational talent

In year two of the program, our trainees’ project work traditionally kicks off with the Gnadenthal workshop series. In 2022, the workshops took place in person with speakers including Sergiy Lakhno, Managing Director Rittal Ukraine, who spoke about his personal experience of handling major crises. “It was so thought-provoking,” says Arthur Hetzel, Rittal mechatronics apprentice. “It made me re-evaluate my own problems in a different light.”
