Tasks

  • You maintain and repair stamping and forming tools for the production centre and in this way contribute decisively to the quality of the final product
  • You plan and control your work processes in the area of tool maintenance
  • You check the dimensional accuracy of workpieces using a variety of measuring and testing devices and draw up corresponding reports
  • You learn to work with CNC machining centres and technical drawings

Job profile

  • Intermediate or advanced school-leaving certificate ("mittlere Reife" or "Abitur")
  • German language skills (B2 level)
  • Technical understanding and manual craft skills
  • Ability to think logically and good spatial visualisation skills
  • Sense of responsibility, reliability and readiness to work independently
  • Meticulous and exact approach to work
  • Team-minded, motivated, flexible and determined to achieve

The Junior Competence Center is an important hub in the day-to-day lives of our apprentices and students. In year two of the program, our trainees’ project work traditionally kicks off with the Gnadenthal workshop series. In 2022, the workshops took place in person with speakers including Sergiy Lakhno, Managing Director Rittal Ukraine, who spoke about his personal experience of handling major crises. “It was so thought-provoking,” says Arthur Hetzel, Rittal mechatronics apprentice. “It made me re-evaluate my own problems in a different light.”
