Tasks
- Supporting the identification and development of IT vendors (manufacturers, consulting firms, traditional IT suppliers and service providers), together with internal customers and central purchasing within the Group
- Developing and negotiating the content of vendor-specific contracts and ensuring compliance and governance at vendor and contract level
- Collaboration in the definition and collection of KPIs at vendor and contract level, as well as in reporting & controlling on a vendor basis
- Support in the development of RFPs (Request for Proposal) together with the respective requisitioners within the group of companies, in preparation for subsequent tenders by the central purchasing department
- Carrying out risk assessments of existing and new vendors as well as existing and new software assets
- Supporting the internal and external auditing of vendors, contracts and assets based on predefined parameters
- Maintenance of vendor and contract data as well as the vendor-specific CRM system
- Collaboration in the development and maintenance of the IT vendor management process landscape
- Supporting the areas of IT project management and IT governance in the context of overarching requirements. It is possible to take on sub-projects in the context of IT vendor management
Job profile
- Completed commercial or technical training (preferably IT systems clerk) or studies, but also career changers with relevant qualifications / references are welcome
- Several years of experience in manufacturer-related (pre-sales) IT consulting / IT inside sales / IT license sales / IT vendor management / SAM / IT contract management / IT purchasing
- Knowledge of the license and contract forms of leading software manufacturers and vendors (e.g. VMWARE, PALOALTO, SOPHOS, ATLASSIAN, AUTODESK, SALESFORCE, ORACLE, CITRIX, CISCO, SERVICE NOW) and proof of valid certifications
- Proven expertise in IT compliance, contract management, license management, ISO 27001, ITIL V3/V4 or similar is an advantage
- German (business fluent in spoken and written), English (good in spoken and written)
- Confident handling of ERP systems (SAP) and MS Office
- Affinity for IT and technical understanding, organizational skills and a feel for requirements needs
- Analytical, independent and structured way of working, with simultaneous process adherence
- High level of commitment, teamwork and communication skills
