Start your career in translation with our trainee program in our Technical Documentation team at Eplan at our location in Monheim am Rhein (between Düsseldorf and Cologne).
Tasks
- You will benefit from excellent on-the-job training in the field of translation coordination.
- This area of responsibility includes:
- Working in an established translation team & collaborating with Technical Documentation
- Preparation and follow-up of translation projects
- Communication with external service providers
- Quality assurance of translations
- Maintenance of translation memories & terminology databases
Job profile
- Successfully completed linguistic studies (specialist translation / terminology / language technology or comparable)
- Very good language skills in German, English and at least one other foreign language; knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage
- Initial knowledge of CAT tools such as Trados Studio and Multiterm
- Quick comprehension, organizational skills and a good technical understanding
- Commitment and motivation
- Quick familiarization with complex topics and the ability to acquire complex know-how independently
