Tasks
- Responsibility for the standardization of commercial master data and simultaneous assurance of data quality and security
- Carrying out data analyses and cleansing as well as creating reports for GBS management
- Developing data structures in close coordination with the IT department for the efficient management and use of master data
- Identification of missing master data quality (cost centers, accounts, work plans, material prices, customer master data and other relevant data) in cooperation with the divisions, as well as definition and implementation of suitable measures
- Definition and implementation of global, regional and local processes for Master Data Management (MDM), particularly with regard to harmonization and standardization of these processes
- Responsibility for setting up a global master data organization based on a uniform master data strategy
- Acting as a central communication and escalation point for all MDM topics and working closely with various departments
Job profile
- Degree in business informatics or business administration or a comparable qualification
- First professional experience in data management and in-depth understanding of data quality and integrity
- Knowledge in the areas of business analytics, process management and digitization, together with a strong know-how in SAP business processes
- Structured, independent and analytical way of working
- Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with different departments and stakeholders
- Business fluent in German and English
